| Description: | The Ohio Company paid for the "second purchase" of 214,285 acres with warrants issued by the federal government for military service. This register is arranged by unidentified agents (in random order, but there is an index inside the front cover). Given are the names of the warrant holders (in rough alphabetical order in each agency), ranks, their states and regiments, the number of acres to which each is entitled, and the number of each warrant. The names on the warrants may or may not be those of proprietors, for warrants were sometimes purchased for investment in the Ohio Company.
