Title: Rufus Putnam draft letter to Henry Knox

Description: Putnam complains of lack of information from Knox and Anthony Wayne concerning the fate of Truman and other messengers to the Indians, but plans to leave Fort Washington the next day for Vincennes. The Indian prisoners and treaty goods started down the river "this morning." Putnam is hopeful of success in treating with the Indians.
