He owned a share in the Ohio Company of Associates and was said to be the first teacher in the Northwest Territory. This document (in 3 parts, tied) records, in Tupper's words, "Field notes taken by me in surveying parts of the territory purchased by the Ohio Company." The surveys are for parts of federal survey ranges 8, 9, 10, 11,12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. |
