Letter written at Marietta, Ohio, encloses plat of the Ohio Company purchase, as requested, to form part of a proposed map of the lands of the United States Northeast of the River Ohio. This plat is as detailed as possible without going to great expense. (Plat not included with the letter.) "The Ohio Company consists of 817 proprietary Rights Subdivided in 7 lots each, besides between two and three hundred, chiefly 3 acre lots, which the Company found it convenient to Sell - add to these upward of 900 Donation Lots." |
